BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- Louisiana Department of Health reports a decrease of 90 patients currently in the hospital due to COVID-19. LDH also reports 48 new deaths from yesterday.
Louisiana COVID-19 Breakdown:
- 1,663 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total for the state to 723,458
- 48 new COVID-19 deaths bringing the total for the state to 13,366
- 1,431 COVID-19 patients are currently in the hospital across Louisiana
- 267 COVID-19 patients are currently on ventilators
According to the Louisiana Department of Health, “The vast majority of these cases are tied to community spread.”
