Cornelius, Jane Morton Age 96 of Bloomington Passed away July 26, 2019. Jane was raised in Duluth, MN and the north shore of Lake Superior has always had a special place in her heart. Her parents were Albert and Gertrude Morton. She joined the Duluth Curling and Skating Club as a teenager and graduated from Duluth Central High School. After attending college, Jane joined the Ice Follies and skated professionally with them in major cities of the US and Canada. She also worked at Pan Am as well as a TV station and landscape architect firm in Minneapolis. Jane was an avid hiker and especially loved her many trips to Switzerland. Jane raised her family in St. Louis Park and was a member of Hope Church for over 40 years. Jane was preceded in death by her son Charles, her brothers Robert and David Morton and sister Alice Peterson. She is survived by her children, Dick Cornelius and Kathy Shafer, as well as ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Hope Church, Richfield, Sept. 16 at 11am.
