Mountain Brook's Police Department has a new leader.Jaye Loggins was sworn in as the city's new police chief, during the city council meeting tonight.Chief Loggins will take over the role, after former Chief Ted Cook announced his retirement last month, after serving as the head of the police department for more than three decades.Chief Loggins served as deputy chief under former Chief Cook, and has been employed with Mountain Brook since 1996.
