I am a board-certified, California-licensed and Stanford-trained psychiatrist providing assessments, medication treatments and deep psychotherapy for adult patients. My name is Dr. Tom Xia, and I believe the best treatment starts with understanding the factors that make up the person, not just the symptoms. I currently accept new adult patients for medication management. My services include, but are not limited to psychiatric assessment, medication management and supportive therapy. My experience being a Registered Nurse in a busy community emergency department has helped me view each patient individually. Dr. Lin is a graduate of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Dr. Lin also received his MPH in Biostatistics from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and an MBA from New England College. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boston, MA. Dr. Lin enjoys practicing general psychiatry. His areas of expertise include treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, Schizophrenia Bipolar disorder, as well as combined medical and psychiatric problems.
