Fans have divine intervention to thank for Mary Cosby‘s presence on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. On Thursday night, Mary appeared on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, where she was asked if she felt called by God to star on the Bravo hit. In a surprise to no one, the RHOSLC star insisted that her role on the show is “God’s plan,” as she’s both “a woman of faith” and a “woman of fashion.” Well, if that isn’t the most on-brand thing fans have ever heard…

After airing her grievances on Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion, Mary and her 85 closets took the show on the road to WWHL. The Bravo star was careful not to spill too many secrets about forthcoming installments of the reunion, which will air over the next two Wednesdays, but during the After Show, she did reveal what (or who), exactly, brought her to RHOSLC.

“Mary, I’m a believer, as well,” asked a fan. “And I want to know if you feel that God calls you to be on the Housewives, and why?”

“That’s a good question,” replied Mary, the first lady of her Salt Lake City congregation, Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. “I don’t do anything that I don’t feel like God called me to do. And I think that God put me on there because there’s not a lot of people like me that are just completely in love with God, and I’m a woman of faith.”

Mary added that while she doesn’t know why God called her to appear on Bravo’s RHOSLC, she believes that the drama, the outrageous outfits, and her ongoing feud with Jen Shah play into something much larger than herself. “So, I don’t know why, but I know that it is God’s plan,” she told the fan.
