Big Splash at Brookside Park lives up to its billing as 'the best pool party in town'

"If you've ever been to one of our pool parties, you know it's the best pool party in town," Mayor Matt Miller said about the City's annual Big Splash at Brookside Park Pool during the July 19 Council meeting.

Friday's Big Splash lived up to that billing, as people of all ages enjoyed playing with rubber ducks, beach balls and floating flamingos that filled the pool. Prizes also were given out through the all-day event.

All kids ages 4 to 15 years old who attended were admitted to the pool for free. Anyone older who attended paid a small fee to enjoy all the fun.
