Bahrain plans to revamp technical education to attract more students and tailor it to labour market needs, said a report.

“The number of intermediate students joining technical schools does not exceed 36 per cent,” Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi was quoted as saying in the GDN.

The minister also announced plans to encourage female students to join technical courses.-TradeArabia News Service
