A$AP FERG With a new mixtape, "Ferg Forever," expected later this month, this Harlem rapper is still riding high on the success of last year's "Trap Lord," his debut full-length, and turned up as a guest on Ariana Grande's "Hands on Me." He's on the road with rapper YG for what they're calling the BestCoast Connection Tour. Nov. 25, 8 p.m. Tickets: $29.50-$39.50. House of Blues. 800-745-3000, www.livenation.com

JULIAN CASABLANCAS + THE VOIDZ Taking a break from his gig with the Strokes, Casablancas sounds like a man reborn on his new album credited to Julian Casablancas + the Voidz. "Tyranny" beats to a wild heart, with songs coated in industrial grime and pierced by fuzzy guitars spiraling in kamikaze directions. It's not for everyone, but it is surely Casablancas's most interesting detour in recent memory. Shabazz Palaces, an experimental hip-hop ensemble from Seattle, will open. Nov. 26, 8 p.m. Tickets: $30-$40. House of Blues. 800-745-3000, www.livenation.com

BOB SEGER & THE SILVER BULLET BAND In her review of Seger's new album, "Ride Out," Globe critic Sarah Rodman wrote, "Splitting his content between covers and originals, he continues simply but smartly to think about girls, cars, life, and love, but also shifts gears into social commentary." Seger (pictured) and his band come to town with a heavy catalog of hits, not to mention the hometown heroes of the J. Geils Band as the warm-up act. Nov. 29, 8 p.m. Tickets: $55-$95. TD Garden. 800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com
