LOS ANGELES, California (WKBN) – Veteran Joe Flacco was named the Browns’ starting quarterback for Sunday’s road game against the Rams. Head coach Kevin Stefanski made the official announcement on Friday afternoon. Dorian Thompson-Robinson remains in concussion protocol and has not practiced all week in Los Angeles.

Flacco, who joined Cleveland’s practice squad on Nov. 20, was tabbed as the club’s QB1 against the Rams following a week where he took starter’s reps in place of injured rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who sustained a concussion in Week 12.
