BEREA, Ohio -- Browns running back Nick Chubb will soon be on the mend and working his way back to the field after his gruesome left knee injury. On injured reserve for the season, he’ll undergo surgery today by team physical Dr. James Voos at University Hospitals.

He was carted off the field in the second quarter of the Browns’ 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The injury ended his season.

BEREA — Nick Chubb will undergo surgery on his left knee on Friday, nearly two weeks after the Browns running back suffered a season-ending injury in Pittsburgh. Chubb will have the surgery done at the University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center.

N ot only did the Cleveland Browns suffer their first defeat of the season Monday night, but they also lost the heart and soul of their offense. During the second quarter of a 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers , Nick Chubb was carted off the field after suffering a season-ending knee injury on a hit from Minkah Fitzpatrick.

If Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb wants to make some extra cash while he's sidelined with a knee injury, he'll have an opportunity to do so.

Nick Chubb is expected to miss the rest of the season with a "very significant" knee injury, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said.
