The Kremlin said on Friday it could not predict whether Russian President Vladimir Putin would meet U.S. President Donald Trump this year given how turbulent the world had become. The Kremlin has repeatedly said that Putin is open to an in-person meeting with Trump,

"Until the necessary 'homework' is done to remove the irritants in our relations with the United States, it makes no sense to organize a meeting," Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin said he’s willing to meet with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky but suggested the democratically elected leader couldn’t legally sign a peace deal.
