Ice production is programmable to fit into specific time periods or meet different application volumes. Before ice drops into a bin, its thickness is measured by an acoustical sensing probe, and the components of this machine are accessible through the front swing-out door for simple cleaning. Reducing the growth of bacteria and biofilm slime, some of these parts are made with AlphaSan® antimicrobial technology.Featuring an easyTouch® display, users can manage operations and maintenance on the Manitowoc IDT-0620A commercial ice machine head. When maintenance issues arise, it will notify the operator through its 24-hour diagnostic system to quickly combat issues. Its exterior is made of DuraTech™, which resists corrosion in humid environments and disguises fingerprints and dirt with its clear coating. Overall, the air-cooled head is 22 inches wide by 241/2 inches deep by 211/2 inches high to fit securely on top of a separately sold storage bin.Note: This unit must be paired with an ice maker bin or ice dispenser.
