GIRL POWER! Camp GADgET Returns to Triton This Summer

River Grove, IL - With 400 thousand manufacturing jobs in the Chicagoland area, Triton College’s one-of-a-kind summer camp is inspiring young ladies aged 12-16 from throughout Chicagoland to make their mark on the traditionally male dominated field.

Camp GADgET (Girls Adventuring in Design, Engineering & Technology) is a two week program beginning July 17 that builds confidence in camp goers through creativity and craftsmanship. Participants work together to design and build their very own robots and other creations, while learning important manufacturing skills like laser cutting, pneumatics and more.

Additionally, Camp GADgET’s field trips to top manufacturing companies and inspiring visits from industry leaders will motivate young women from throughout the area to pursue their dreams.
