- Australians have revealed their favourite 'weird food combos' in online debate
- They have also had to defend some of their interesting favourite foods
- Some swear by Pringles in yoghurt whilst others prefer hot chips and icecream
From marshmallows melted over cheesy Doritos to peanut butter wrapped in lettuce and sardines served with pineapple - people have revealed their favourite 'weird-food' obsessions.
Australians have come together to defend their favourite flavours, and to take note of new ones, in a recent Facebook debate.
One woman said she loves wrapping her Oreos in crispy fried bacon, while another claimed dipping Pringles into yoghurt is 'the best snack ever'.
Pizza dipped in icecream, like the one pictured, was a surprising favourite
One man said he likes to wrap his Oreo biscuits in crispy bacon rashers
One man said his mother's weird snacking habits have put stress on their relationship.
'She eats savoury mince on porridge for breakfast,' he said, disgusted.
He also complained about her use of vinegar, which he doesn't believe should be anywhere near food.
But many disagreed.
One woman said she loves ham and vinegar sandwiches, while another confessed to dipping nuggets into the tangy liquid.
Sweet and salty combinations proved popular in the discussion with one man suggesting hash browns lathered in strawberry jam as a delicious breakfast option.
Another person said plain boiled rice mixed with icecream is delicious - some agreed with one sharing a picture of the dish with granola on top
Strawberries wrapped in ham was a popular choice but only one person appeared to agree with the woman who eats sardines and pineapple together.
Adding sauce to things isn't anything new - however some people revealed they have a love of fried fish with gravy and another said vanilla icecream is improved with hot chilli sauce.
Icecream on pizza appeared to be popular as did rice mixed with the dessert.
Peanut butter and lettuce appeared to be a winning combination - served as above or on a sandwich
One woman admitted to eating buttered toast wrapped around a Crunchie chocolate bar while another preferred to wrap mashed potato in devon.
Common 'weird combinations' in the chat included eating hot chips with icecream, particularly the fast-food kind and adding Maltesers to hot salted popcorn.
The post had more than a thousand comments, with most of them including some kind of weird food fetish, but some people were not on board.
'I can officially say you are all weird,' one woman said.
'I have read the whole list and I wouldn't try anything on here,' said another.
