Aldi US is bringing back its wine advent calendar – with 24 mini bottles of booze

ENJOY Aldi's drinks in the most festive way possible - through its wine advent calendar.

For the 24 days up to Christmas, you can enjoy a sip of Aldi's wine for $69.99 (£54.58).

The German supermarket is known for its good selection of wine and now you can get 24 mini bottles, each packed into individual festive drawers.

The bottles included will be from popular wine regions around the world.

Aldi has confirmed that the "small" bottles of wine are 187ml, and that's also the same size as the fizzy bottles of wines in their New Year's Day countdown calendar.

In comparison, Walmart sells these 187ml bottles at around $4.96 (£3.87), so you'd only get 14 and a bit bottles for the same $69.99 (£54.58) price.
If this sounds like the advent calendar for you, you need to be quick though.

Aldi's wine advent calendars will be stocked in stores from November 6 and, given Aldi's popularity in the US, they look to be in high demand.

The supermarket is even limiting purchases to two per customer - and restocking seems unlikely too.

And while 24 bottles of wine sounds like a dream come true, if you're more of a beer drinker Aldi is also selling a beer advent calendar.

Sparkling wine and cheese advent calendars are being sold too.

Find your nearest store now using the branch finder on the Aldi website so you're prepared for November 6.

It might be worth calling ahead to see if your local store stocks the festive advent calendars so you don't waste a journey.

The alcoholic advent calendars will only be sold to those over the age of 21 - so remember your ID.
