  • Sufficient hospital bed capacity
  • Sufficient personal protective equipment supply
  • Stable or declining COVID-19 hospitalizations
  • Sufficient testing capacity

Over the past few weeks, the state has seen a spike in cases, many of which have been linked to colleges; however, the state has also seen an uptick in cases among those over the age of 25, Gov. Jared Polis announced at a news conference Tuesday.

“This is a warning sign for us, just as we had a warning sign in July, and we were able to correct course,” Polis said. “We need to do a bit better.”
