FORDYCE -- Junior Quartey Shelton scored on a 40-yard run to help the Redbugs (1-0) knock off the Wildcats (1-1).
After a scoreless first half, Fordyce grabbed an 8-0 lead on Jaheim Brown's 2-yard quarterback sneak. Gary Lewis added the two-point conversion.
Rison's touchdown came on a 5-yard run by Jermarion Frye.
