A Suspect In The Fatal Shootings Of A St. Pete Couple Was Detained In Alachua County
A man and woman were shot and killed overnight in a St. Pete home near 18th Avenue South, according to detectives. A suspect is in custody.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A suspect in a late-night shooting that killed two St. Pete residents was arrested Friday in Alachua County on unrelated drug charges, St. Pete Police said.
James Pagan, 29, reportedly drove away from the site of the homicides, 1738 Granville Court South in St. Pete, just after 11 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Detectives believe the slayings were domestic-related and said Pagan knew one of the victims.

St. Pete detectives were in the process midday Friday of filing the necessary paperwork to charge Pagan in the deaths of Barbarajean Lombardi, 18, and her boyfriend, Tom Dixon, 20.
Authorities told Patch that Pagan is the former boyfriend of Lombardi.
