Shoppes at Belmont, one of the newest development projects in Lancaster County, is nearing completion.

Some stores stores and restaurants have already opened and more are opening this week.

Target is opening Wednesday.

Nordstrom Rack is opening Thursday.

Sub shop Jersey Mike's is also opening Wednesday.

P.F. Chang's is set for a March 19 opening.

You're probably thinking: What about the traffic impact?

It's the new centers and robust communities that entice major retailers to Lancaster County, according to this September 2016 LNP story.

There's also The Crossings at Conestoga Creek on Harrisburg Pike. There, Wegman's is set for an "early fall" opening with 475 employees.

LNP photographer Rick Hertzler took photos throughout the new Belmont complex.

Construction began in September 2016.
