One lane of I-95 in Halifax County closed for construction

HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - One lane of I-95 is closed in Halifax County due to construction.
The Department of Transportation says one northbound lane near Exit 173 near Weldon will be closed until around 5 p.m. Officials expect the impact to traffic to be high.
The construction work began around 8 a.m.
