Oxygen Forensics updates flagship software with faster facial recognition and new interface

Oxygen Forensics has updated its flagship digital forensics software with biometric facial recognition, completely overhauling interface and adding new capabilities for law enforcement, federal, and corporate clients.

The new Oxygen Forensics Detective 12.0, Powered by JetEngine includes a multi-tab interface to handle multiple extractions, the ability to view files from multiple devices simultaneously for deeper analysis, and back-end improvements that the company says increase its data processing speed and decoding capabilities by threefold. It also features the biometric facial recognition technology integrated through the partnership the company recently reached with Rank One Computing.

The update also makes Oxygen Forensics the first mobile forensic company to enable full utilization of system RAM and processor resources for data parsing and decoding, according to the announcement.

“At Oxygen Forensics, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the tools, resources, and support they need to extract data from hundreds of devices and thousands of applications. Now they will be able to do things faster than ever—more than three times as fast as our previous edition—with a new, easy-to-use interface,” said Lee Reiber, COO of Oxygen Forensics. “We’ve expanded our capabilities to include a bevy of new devices, apps, and cloud providers that are becoming increasingly popular, and which will soon dominate the world of digital data storage. And all of this is included: No add-ons, no extra fees, no packages. Oxygen Forensic Detective 12.0 is the undisputed all-in-one digital forensics software on the market.”

Oxygen Forensics Detective 12.0 gives users enhanced image and video processing, categorization, and analysis tools, and expands device and cloud storage compatibility. Users can extract data from dozens of new devices, and extract data from platforms including LinkedIn, Reliance JioPhone and JioCoud, Viber Cloud and KaiOS.
