March 18, 2020

Latest information: Based on the experiences of the Seattle Mayor and their community, we created the Community Response Fund which is hosted at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. As we move through this, many people are going to need help as result of the impact felt by the novel coronavirus. The fund will help sustain organizations offering services to those in our community who need it most. WMC did a good story on this, as well as, listing other ways you can help. The third case, which was announced yesterday, is not a resident of Shelby County and had recently travelled to several other states. That individual experienced only minor symptoms and is isolated in a residential setting.
