UNION TWP., Miami County — A 35-year-old man last known to have a Verona, Ohio, address has been identified as the suspect in a string of break-ins and burglaries in Union Twp. in mid-June, Miami County Sheriff Dave Duchak said.

Michael Kleismit, the named suspect, is known to sheriff's detectives because they arrested him in previously on three counts of breaking and entering for committing similar crimes in Newton Twp. in February.

Kleismit was out on bond on those charges.

He is in the Clark County jail now on similar charges in Darke and Montgomery counties.
