The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) honored 39 young athletes with outstanding academic marks at a special reception ceremony.

Honorees represent nine national sports federations, namely table tennis, athletics, swimming, weightlifting, bowling, equestrian and endurance, sports for athletes with disabilities, golf and fencing.

They received special awards from BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar and board member and woman’s sport committee chairwoman Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa and Bahrain Football Association member Aref Al Mannai.
