HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Central East Maui all-star team defeated New Jersey on Monday to advance in the Little League World Series.

The game was suspended on Sunday in the fifth inning due to weather conditions.

However, Team Hawaii finished what they started, ending the game 6-0.

Team Hawaii will play Virginia on Wednesday.
