To have a healthy pregnancy, do your best to get good prenatal care right away. Your healthcare provider will help you make decisions about prenatal genetic testing, manage your pregnancy weight gain, and cope with any pregnancy complications. It's important to call your provider if you have any signs of a miscarriage, such as bleeding, spotting, or abdominal pain. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, you'll get extra care to help you have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
