Body pulled from Chicago River on North Side

A body was pulled from the the North Branch of the Chicago River late Wednesday morning.

The police Marine Unit was called shortly before noon to the 2200 block of North Ashland Avenue, according to preliminary information from police.

Additional details weren’t immediately released.
