Zain Bahrain, the most innovative telecom provider in the Kingdom, has launched ‘Zari Ateej’ as part of their ongoing Environmental Campaign. This campaign is an internal initiative focusing on uniquely engaging with their employees.

The eWaste campaign was launched earlier this year as a strategic environmental initiative in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Environment and the support of the United National Industrials Development Organization (UNIDO).

“Zain Bahrain values the power of innovative communication and is committed to achieve an eco-friendly environment by developing initiatives and educating employees on the importance of protecting our environment.” commented Dana Bukhammas, Human Resource Director of Zain Bahrain. “Our employees are our greatest ambassadors and so it is important for us to engage with them.”

“I would like to thank our creative staff for making such initiatives happen. It is important for us to engage our employees in this campaign as they could play an influential role in encouraging individuals to take part in making Bahrain a more eco-friendly society” she added.

‘Zari Ateej’ is an initiative launched under the eWaste campaign encouraging employees to collect old and un-used electronic items such as smartphones, tablets, computers and even cables and donating them.
