Meghan & Harry latest – Samantha Markle says bombshell book will make Duchess “uncomfortable” but Royals will “like it”

MEGHAN Markle's sister Samantha has said her bombshell memoir will make the Duchess "uncomfortable" but that the Royal Family will "like it."

Samantha Markle’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, is out in the US on Friday, although it's not clear whether the book will be published in the UK.

She, told The Sun on Sunday it is not a tell-all memoir on Meghan, but will make her sibling feel uncomfortable.

The Royal Family will not "be unhappy" with the 330-page book, she added.

"I think the Royal Family will like it and will enjoy it and nothing they should be uncomfortable with. I hope they find it warm, funny, honest and heartfelt.

"I wrote it respectfully knowing they would see it and not concerned there is anything they will be unhappy about.

She added: "I don't know if she (Meghan) will be comfortable with it. Some things she will and some things she won't.

"It's fair and balanced. Naturally, some things she will like and some things she won't.

Samantha, 56, is the eldest daughter of Thomas Markle, 76. She has been a vocal critic of Meghan, once calling her “a shallow social climber” with “a soft spot for gingers”.

Meghan, 39, has slammed the claims as “absurd” and said her half-sister hardly knows her.

  • PIERS MORGAN TELLS QUEEN TO STRIP HARRY AND MEGHAN OF THEIR ROYAL TITLES

PIERS Morgan has called on the Queen to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles after "using" their son Archie on a podcast.

Since getting out of royal duties back in Britain, they have landed a number of lucrative deals for their future, including a £100million Netflix win and a £30million Spotify podcast of their own.

Highlighting their hypocrisy, Piers ranted on Good Morning Britain today: "They quit the country for privacy and they've hardly shut up since. They particularly wanted to protect their little boy who is the star of their new podcast. It is all complete hogwash."

"After all that saying 'we had to leave the country to protect his privacy. but now the moment we've signed a big-money deal we're going to use him to flog our podcast'."

  • PRINCE WILLIAM ‘WILL BE UNHAPPY’ WITH HARRY’S NOD TO DIANA ON WEBSITE

PRINCE William "will be unhappy" that Prince Harry appears to be "exploiting Princess Diana's status" on the new Archewell website, an expert has claimed.

The couple shared childhood pictures of themselves with their mothers - alongside a short letter to 2021 in which the Duke described himself as "my mother's son".

Royal expert Phil Dampier told The Mail: "I think William will be slightly worried if Harry uses Diana for any of his charitable or commercial ventures without consulting him, and I don't think he would be happy if Harry appears to be exploiting his mother's iconic status.

"It's also very significant that Harry called himself his 'mother's son' but has made no mention of Prince Charles. William is very much following now in his father's footsteps with his environmental and conservation work."

  • MEG'S COURT SHOWDOWN 'WOULD BE TRAUMATIC FOR ROYALS'

MEGHAN Markle’s bombshell courtroom showdown with her dad would be “traumatic and uncomfortable for the royal family”, sources said today.

Later this month, lawyers representing the Duchess of Sussex are set to argue their case in her privacy battle against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.

The prospect of a trial has sent shockwaves throughout as palace royal aides may be expected to give evidence.

It is believed several staff who worked for Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, are already preparing for when they are grilled in court.

Some fear the worst and are concerned it would be embarrassing for the royal family, according to the paper.

A senior royal source told The Sunday Times: “A trial would be traumatic for Meghan and Harry.

“It will expose palace operations, members of staff would be dragged into it on the witness stands … it would be deeply uncomfortable for the institution.”

  • SAMANTHA MARKLE HINTS AT BOOK CONTENTS

Meghan's sister, Samantha Markle is set to publish her tell-all book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, in the US on Friday.

The controversial personality told The Sun on Sunday her book out this week is not a tell-all memoir on Meghan, but will make her sibling feel uncomfortable.

She said: "People with nothing to hide have nothing to fear. The truth is the truth. One's comfort level is wherever the truth is a priority or not for the individual.

    "Meghan will be in there.

"Truth is stranger than fiction and I have predicated myself on the truth.

"It was never meant to be a slamming tell-all and be frivolous and meaningless."

  • MEGHAN'S FAMILY TREE

Some of Meghan’s family are well-known and were incredibly vocal in the run-up to her royal wedding.

But the Duchess of Sussex's mum was her only close relative at the ceremony after her dad Thomas pulled out last minute.

Meghan Markle's dad is Thomas Markle Snr, a 73-year-old former Emmy-award winning television lighting director.

He worked on iconic US shows including Married with Children and General Hospital.

Born in 1945, he is of Dutch-Irish origin and currently lives in New Mexico.

Doria Ragland is a yoga instructor and social worker, and Meghan, born in 1981, is her only child.

Her Facebook page says the 61-year-old works in social work at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in California.

Thomas Markle Snr’s oldest child, Samantha Grant, sometimes referred to as Samantha Markle, is 53.

In 2008 she was diagnosed with MS and now uses a wheelchair.

Samantha has been very vocal on her views on Meghan’s marriage, giving multiple interviews to US and UK media.

  • SAMANTHA MARKLE SET TO REVEAL ALL IN BOMBSHELL MEMOIR

THE Duchess of Sussex is set to be rocked by a bombshell memoir penned by her outspoken sister.

Samantha Markle’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, is out in the US on Friday.

The 330-page tome promises to tell the “hidden truths about her family, as a royal fairy plummets from the tea towels”.

It also says “things are not always as they seem” and “truth is stranger than fiction”.

The memoir has been in the pipeline for four years and Meghan was said to have been “in tears” when she first heard her half-sister was writing it.

One insider said: “The book may never be on sale in Britain because of our tighter libel laws but it will be all over the internet.”

  • MEGHAN REJECTED KATE'S 'PEACE OFFERING'

The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle biography Finding Freedom has shed light on why the couple stepped down as senior royals - and given insight into the Duchess' relationship with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

According to the book's authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Kate and Meghan never progressed beyond "distant politeness" and "had nothing in common other than the fact they lived at Kensington Palace".

In 2017, Kate allegedly sent Meghan flowers on her birthday as a "peace offering" - but the book claims the former Suits star felt this wasn't enough.

It reads: "Flowers for her birthday were nice, but Meghan would far rather have had Kate check in on her during the most difficult times.

"Meghan was disappointed that she and Kate hadn’t bonded over the position they shared, but she wasn’t losing sleep over it."

  • ARCHIE 'LEADING ENID BLYTON LIFE' IN CALIFORNIA

THEY may have stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family in search of a more private life - but that hasn't stopped Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from releasing their annual Christmas card.

The couple shared a sweet illustration of themselves posing in the garden of their Montecito mansion with 19-month-old son Archie.

Analysing the Sussexes' latest card, body language expert Judi James claims the couple have made a conscious effort to protect their privacy while also presenting an idealised version of their new life in California.

She told Fabulous: "This digitalised picture seems to glorify the Enid Blyton-style childhoods of vintage storybooks, suggesting a very besotted-looking Harry and Meghan are set on creating a look of idyllic, rustic intimacy rather than posing up the garden in their multi-million dollar mansion.

"There is a suggestion from the pose that Meghan wants to contain and protect her precious family unit. Harry sits inside the tiny playhouse here, holding his face close to Archie’s and grinning at his son, who he holds with both hands."

  • WHAT'S MEGHAN AND HARRY'S NET WORTH?

According to Business Insider, Meghan has an estimated net worth of £3.8million ($5million) which she accumulated from her acting career.

She starred in over 100 episodes of the legal drama Suits, where she was paid £40,463 ($50,000) per episode - according to knownetworth.com, towards the end of her acting career.

Meghan earned around about £291,339 ($360,000) from her roles in the 2010 movies Remember Me and The Candidate.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s net worth is reported to be at least £19.2million ($25million), which is made up of an inheritance from Princess Diana and an annual allowance from Prince Charles.

It's unknown how much of this comes from the crown.

The data compiled by Love the Sales researched the biggest sales spikes after celebrities wore certain outfits last year and found women rushed out to buy Kate's wardrobe.

Meghan followed closely behind in second place.

Fashion fans rushed to pick up the Duchess's striped dress by Altzurra in 2018, while another hot style moment as her crossbody bag by Scottish brand Strawberry.

  • MEG 'SET TO SPILL ROYAL SECRETS IN 2021'

THE psychic who was right in several 2020 predictions - including a medical crisis and Donald Trump's election defeat - has revealed what he thinks is coming in 2021.

Nicolas Aujul, 35, claims to see the future through visions, some of which are literal and some which serve as a metaphor for an event.

He said: "Megan Markle will reveal some royal secrets in tell all and will make lots of money in 2021 for which she is criticised."

He continued: “I’m getting visions of Meghan Markle appearing on screen somewhere, doing some sort of tell all interview, where she spills secrets about the Royal family.

“I’m also seeing another baby for her and Harry.”

  • MEGHAN'S SISTER SAYS BOMBSHELL BIOGRAPHY WILL MAKE DUCHESS 'UNCOMFORTABLE'

Meghan Markle's sister Samantha has said her bombshell memoir will make the Duchess "uncomfortable," but that the Royal Family will "like it."

Samantha Markle’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, is out in the US on Friday.

Samantha Markle told The Sun on Sunday her book is not a tell-all memoir on Meghan but will make her half-sister feel uncomfortable.

The Royal Family will not "be unhappy" with the 330-page book, she added.

Samantha, 56, said: "There is something in it for everyone. It has been an interesting journey...

"There was a lot going on behind closed doors that the world didn't know."

  • MEGHAN 'HAS BLOSSOMED BACK IN HER NATIVE COUNTRY BUT HARRY IS A SHADOW OF HIMSELF'

Meghan is blossoming in her native country but Harry is "a shadow of the prince I once knew", a Royal biographer has claimed.

Writing for the Telegraph, Angela Levin said Harry once "exuded an extraordinary combination of royal stardust, accessibility, confidence and mischief, a mixture that enabled him to connect instantly with people of all ages and types."

She adds: "Those enviable qualities are far less visible today. He seems to have discarded his life as an action man to become an airy-fairy do-gooder."

On the flip side, she says: "It is clear to see that the Duchess of Sussex has blossomed back in her native country, and how a short stint with a Royal title has opened many doors, enabling her to upgrade her contacts book and giving her new opportunities to showcase her impressive skills."

This Friday marks a whole year since Meghan and Harry announced their decision to step down as senior royals, sending shockwaves through the family.

  • PRINCE HARRY 'IS CHANGING HIS ACCENT TO FIT WOKE LIFE IN CALIFORNIA'

Prince Harry is "changing his accent to fit" his "woke West Coast life", a Royal biographer has said.

Writing for the Telegraph, Angela Levin said of the new Archewell podcast: "Phrases such as 'twenny twenny' and 'I wanna' suggest his ‘Californication’ is well under way."

The piece is called "How America has changed Prince Harry".

She adds: "He and the Duchess also repeat, several times, a favourite phrase of theirs: 'Love wins'.

"I don’t think many senior members of the Royal family have felt much of that love over the past 12 months."

  • PALACE AIDES 'TRIED TO TALK MEGHAN & HARRY OUT OF COURT MOVE'

Several senior Sussex aides desperately tried to persuade the couple to not pursue with legal action against the Mail's publisher – but they ignored their advice – according to The Sunday Times.

A source said: “Before Harry and Meghan pulled the trigger, we wanted to walk them through what it would look like if it went all the way [to trial] and to face up to that.”

Later this month, lawyers representing the Duchess of Sussex are set to argue their case in her privacy battle against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.

They are expected to call for a summary judgment which, if agreed, will stop any trial taking place at the High Court, reports The Sunday Times.

According to the paper, they will claim witnesses do not need to give evidence to show her privacy rights were breached when the Mail on Sunday published parts of a letter she wrote to her dad Thomas.

In the extracts, she complained about his behaviour before and after she married Prince Harry in Windsor in 2018.

The case will then be closed if Mr Justice Warby accepts her lawyer’s request for a summary judgment.

  • COURTROOM SHOWDOWN COULD BE FIRST MEETING FOR HARRY & FATHER-IN-LAW

Prince Harry could end up meeting his father-in-law for the first time in a courtroom.

Harry, 36, is yet to meet Meghan Markle's estranged dad Thomas, 76.

Prince Harry announced in October 2019 that Meghan was suing the Mail on Sunday’s publisher for a claimed breach of privacy, over letters to her dad which were printed in the paper.

Associated Newspapers said it would defend its actions and would call Thomas to give evidence after he was quoted saying: “I’ll see Meghan in court.”

Palace sources last night warned any trial would be "traumatic" for the Royal family, as the couple's lawyers reportedly moved for a summary judgement to stop any trial taking place at the High Court.

If unsuccessful, it's expected a public trial will take place.

  • MEGHAN WAS LEFT 'IN TEARS' WHEN SHE HEARD ABOUT HER SISTER'S BOMBSHELL MEMOIR

Meghan was left "in tears" when she heard her sister was publishing a bombshell memoir.

Samantha Markle’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, is out in the US on Friday.

Meghan, 39, has slammed the book's claims as “absurd” and said her half-sister hardly knows her.

The memoir has been in the pipeline for four years and Meghan was said to have been “in tears” when she first heard her half-sister was writing it.

  • KATE NEEDS 'WATER TIGHT BOUNDARIES WHICH COULD MARK A CUT OFF FROM HARRY & MEGHAN'

Kate Middleton needs "water-tight boundaries" in her Royal role, which "could mark a further cut-off point with Meghan and Harry", an expert has said.

Royal astrologer Debbie Frank said Kate will take on extra responsibilities in the first three months of 2021, hence the need for the enhanced boundaries.

Debbie adds: "Last year she became the Queen of Zoom.

"We will continue to see this new side of Kate as she surprises us with her new pop-up accessibility."

  • MEGHAN PRIVACY TRIAL COULD BE 'TRAUMATIC' FOR ROYALS

Coming face to face with her estranged dad in court could be "traumatic" for both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Royal sources have warned.

The couple are suing Associated Newspapers claiming a breach of privacy, after the Mail on Sunday published extracts from a letter Meghan sent her dad Thomas, 76, in August 2018.

“A trial would be traumatic for Meghan and Harry, it will expose Palace operations, members of staff would be dragged into it on the witness stands," a source told The Sunday Times.

"It would be deeply uncomfortable for the institution."

Meghan's lawyers are now due to appear at the High Court, where they will battle for a summary judgement so a full trial with witnesses can be avoided.

  • HARRY 'SET FOR DISAPPOINTMENT & LONGING'

Prince Harry is set for disappointment, nostalgia and longing in 2021, astrologer Debbie Frank has warned.

She told us Harry "looks lost as nebulous Neptune blurs his sense of direction and of who he is".

Things will be particularly hard for the prince from mid-April, Debbie adds.

"The initially empowering thrill of carving out his new life last year gives way to doubts about whether he has done the right thing.

"The reality of his new place in the Royal Family sinks in."

  • MEGHAN 'WON'T WANT TO REJOIN ROYAL RANKS'

Meghan Markle "won't want to rejoin Royal ranks" in 2021, astrologer Debbie Frank has revealed.

She told us Meghan is being influenced by Saturn, which "spells separation from ties that bind".

"I don’t see her wanting to rejoin the royal ranks," Debbie adds.

"Meghan will be taking on stand-out projects that make us gasp with their daring.

"Yet the more Meghan does this, the more she will be cast into the shadow of the other Royals."

  • MEGHAN SLASHED CLOTHING SPEND TO A QUARTER AFTER QUITTING ROYAL DUTIES

Meghan Markle slashed her 2020 clothing spend to £44,188, a quarter of what she was spending annually as a Royal.

Femail calculated the cost of the Duchess' wardrobe and it seems it pays to go low profile.

Her most expensive outfit was worn during a trip to London in March, when she went for a farewell lunch at The Goring in an high fashion ensemble worth £14,000.

In 2019, her wardrobe was valued at more than £211,693.

  • MEGHAN'S BEST FRIEND MAKES CRYPTIC POST ASKING PEOPLE TO 'HAVE MORE EMPATHY'

Meghan Markle's best friend has made a cryptic post asking people to "have more empathy".

Jessica Mulroney called "opinion the lowest form of human knowledge" in a New Year post on Instagram.

"Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is...empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding," Jessica wrote.

"Here’s to a little more empathy in 2021," she captioned the post.

Last year, she was accused of white privilege scandal by influencer Sasha Exeter.

  • SUSSEXES ‘MODELLING THEMSELVES ON THE OBAMAS’

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are "modelling themselves on the Obamas" and will release a tell-all book next, an expert has claimed.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl says a book deal could be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's next project after they signed deals with Spotify and Netflix - which were reportedly worth over £142m.

She said: "The Obamas' Higher Ground [production company] was always going to be the business model for the Sussexes and that's exactly what we're seeing.

Describing the Obama's brand as "high end" and "aspirational", the expert added: "It sits very much with the image that the Sussexes are trying to curate for themselves and it's a successful business model."

Michelle and Barrack recently released their own best-selling books, A Promised Land and Becoming, and Kate says the Sussexes are going to follow suit.

She said: "So I think it's very, very likely that they will move into books, or certainly Meghan particularly."

If they were to write a "tell-all" book, the expert believes they would tell their story in a way that was respectful to the monarchy after they pledged to "uphold the values of Her Majesty" in their Megxit statement.
