Eugene M. Yonchak

Sunapee, NH – Eugene M. Yonchak, 81, of Perkins Pond Road, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born in Sharon, PA on March 23, 1939 the son of Steven and Elinor (Narbesky) Yonchak.

He lived in Nashua, NH for 35 years before moving to Sunapee in 2008. Eugene was a computer engineer with Digital Equipment Corp. for 30 years retiring in 1994.

He served in the US Air Force. Eugene was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in New London. He enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane (Campbell) Yonchak of Sunapee, NH; three sons, their wives and children, Steven and Dana Yonchak and their children, Grace and Ellie of Needham, MA, David and Meg Yonchak and their children, Drew and Alex of Ft. Pierce, FL and James and Kathleen Yonchak and their children, Ashley, Sarah and James of North Andover, MA; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Stephen Yonchak a sister Eileen Crowe, and a niece Cindy Siska.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at a later date.
