Marilyn Louise Holland

Marilyn Louise Holland, 88, of Baxter, died August 20,2020 at St. Joseph’s Essentia Hospital in Brainerd, Minnesota. She was born August 5,1932, to Verner and Della Johnson. She married Derrill(Ole) Holland on June 17, 1953 and he still survives.

She is also survived by her brother Bob (Nancy),3 sons, Craig(Nancy) of Lakeshore, Todd (Eileen) of Baxter and Brad (Anne) of Nisswa, 4 granddaughters, Melinda, Breanna, Melissa, Emily; 3 grandsons, Erick, Sam, and Jack; 5 great grandchildren, Colton,Madison, Jackson, Bode and Aiden. Marilyns brother Don and her grandchild, Matthew preceded her in death.

Formerly, Marilyn was a long time resident of East Gull Lake, Brainerd, Minnesota and spent many winters at their home in Fort Myers, Florida.

She loved to cook,(and also loved going to restaurants),entertaining family and friends, shopping til you drop, and of course she loved sewing for all of her family.

A memorial graveside celebration for Marilyn will be held for immediate family only. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Brainerd. A celebration of Marilyns long and fulfilling life may be held at a future date out of respect for safety during these unsettling times. We love you Marilyn and you will be greatly missed.
