Gordon elected president of American Soybean Association

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Rural Worthington farmer Bill Gordon was elected president of the American Soybean Association Governing Committee Thursday, during the association’s board meeting in St. Louis.

Gordon had served as vice-president of the ASA for the past year, and has represented the soybean industry for 15 years as a director with the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association.

Gordon is the sixth Minnesota farmer to be elected ASA president, and will be the 82nd soybean farmer to lead the organization.
