NBC5 Forecast: Summer isn't over just yet

Summer isn't over just yet! A few more hot, dry and humid days are in store before a change in our weather pattern brings rain and storm chances into the forecast.

By late in the week, a storm system will move in from the west and help to generate numerous showers and storms for us. The best chance for rain will be Friday afternoon through Saturday. Friday night football could be impacted by lightning/weather delays, so please plan accordingly!

Fall officially arrives Saturday at 8:54 PM CDT with weather conditions to fit the season. Highs will drop into the lower to mid-80s. Storm chances will continue through the weekend and part of next week.
