Bahrain condemns terrorist attacks in Sinai

MANAMA, 2nd July, 2015 (WAM) -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in the northern part of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on Wednesday which killed tens of soldiers and policemen.

The Bahraini News Agency, BNA, has quoted a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain which says, "It expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyrs, and wishes speedy recovery for the injured as a result of this despicable terrorist act that is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values as well as teachings of all heavenly religions that safeguard human life and dignity."The statement adds that the Kingdom of Bahrain affirms that such criminal acts aim to undermine the efforts exerted to achieve Egyptian citizens' aspirations in progress and prosperity. It expresses its support and solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as its support for deterrent measures it takes in order to preserve Egypt?s security and stability, and eliminate all forms and manifestations of terrorism.

The Kingdom has urged the international community to exert more effort in order to eradicate terrorism and violence all over the world.
