The tornado was embedded in broader straight-line winds and traveled almost three miles and was 100 yards wide, according to the National Weather Service.
Tornadoes, large hail, flash flooding, and damaging winds all accompanied a severe weather outbreak that wreaked havoc on Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
“His lungs are severely damaged and he is not showing much brain activity outside of muscle jerks,” Sullivan said. “Specifically, pray for healing for his lungs and most importantly brain activity to occur.”
