Sandstrom, Roger D., 88, Sturgeon Lake, MN, passed away February 23, 2019. Born June 24, 1930, in St. Paul, MN, to Edgar and Hazel (Young) Sandstrom. Graduated West High School, Minneapolis, class of 1948. Served in US Army - North Korea, 1951-52. Married Susan Jobes on August 14, 1954, in Minneapolis. Raised 4 children in south Minneapolis and Sturgeon Lake. Retired from W.W. Grainger in Duluth, 1992. Survived by his wife; 4 children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and nephew. Memorial service at 11:00am, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Moose Lake Covenant Church. Visitation one hour prior to service, which will be followed by lunch.
