Il Dandy, one of the best restaurants to open in San Diego this year, is offering a three-course, $35 dinner every Monday night after 5 p.m.

The modern Italian restaurant in Bankers Hill — which is helmed by father and son Michelin-starred Calabrian chefs Antonio and Luca Abbruzzino — turns out some of the most creative dishes in town.

What’s on the prix fixe menu? It will change weekly based on what’s in season, but it will always include an appetizer, a pasta and a dessert. Stretch your dining dollar further by popping in at 4 p.m. for Il Dandy’s Aperitivo happy hour for discounted cocktails and bites.
