Naghmana Hashmi (Former Ambassador to China):  The experience of the past 70 years has proved that China-Pakistan friendship and cooperation are not only in the fundamental interests of the two countries, but also conducive to regional and global peace and stability. Both the countries are committed to building a more just, democratic and reasonable multi-polar international order. The CPEC has served as a catalyst for socio-economic development in Pakistan. Several projects are being implemented under CPEC, for enhancement of infrastructure and generation of energy.  People-to-people contacts are an important aspect of the bilateral relationship. Pakistan and China are iron brothers, and no hostile forces will be allowed to damage brotherly relations between the two countries. China supports Pakistan’s narratives on key regional disputes, including the Kashmir dispute
