Aluminium Bahrain BSCC : Alba donates forklift to NIIT, Bahrain for training purposes

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the leading industrial companies in the Kingdom, recently donated a forklift to the National Institute of Industrial Training (NIIT), Bahrain towards the training of Bahraini students. This donation is one of the many initiatives adopted by Alba to contribute towards the society at large and to the training and development of the Bahraini youth in specific.
Speaking about this donation, Alba's Chief Financial Officer, Ali Al Baqali said:
'As a Bahraini corporate citizen, we have a responsibility to develop Bahraini youths in terms of providing hands-on training as well as development opportunities. By partnering with Training Institutes such as National Institute of Industrial Training, Bahrain, we endeavour to train the Bahraini youth as well as develop them to take better opportunities in their careers.'
NIIT, Bahrain is one of the premier institute's in the Kingdom, which provides internationally recognised vocational qualifications, as well as hands-on skills training to raise the career levels of the workforce in Bahrain.

Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba) is a Bahrain-based company engaged in manufacturing aluminum and aluminum related products. The Company produces more than 890,000 metric tons annually and exports its production to regional and international customers in the Middle East, Europe, Far East, South East Asia, Africa and North America. Albaâs products include standard and T-ingot, extrusion billets, rolling slab, propertzi ingots, and molten aluminum. Alba plant comprises five reduction lines, three cast houses, a dedicated carbon plant, a 550,000 metric tons per annum (mtpa) coke calcining plant, a water desalination plant, 11 fume treatment plants, a marine terminal, and a 2.225 megawatt (MW) power plant, consisting of four power stations.
