Police in Kansas City, Missouri are investigating a late-night shooting that left one man dead.
Police say they were called to the 7500 block of East 87th Street just before midnight Friday night about a disturbance with a weapon. When they arrived they say they found an adult black man shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police also say they saw the suspect running from the scene, but were unable to catch him. He is described as a black male wearing a black hat.
