Animal: Dixie, a 21-month-old, 41-pound Catahoula leopard dog-cattle dog blend.
Where: Helen Woodward Animal Care Center, 6461 El Apajo Road, Rancho Santa Fe.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Adoption fee: $365. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations along with micro-chipping for identification.
Profile: Dixie is a great partner for a game of fetch and likes to splash in the pool.
