Education Minnesota - Retired has developed a series of free regional meetings to be held around the state for retired educators and support personnel.
The next regional meeting has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Hampton Inn in Alexandria. Check-in and registration begins at 9 a.m. The meeting concludes by 2:30 p.m.
It will include a light lunch and presentations on various topics, including updates on legislation affecting retirees, pensions, elder abuse and Economic Services Inc. member benefits. Visit with retired colleagues, meet Education Minnesota - Retired state leadership, and have questions answered while getting the latest information on issues important to retirement.
