The Red Devils have unveiled the latest legs of their summer tour from Australia to Wales via Singapore and Shanghai.

Should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer extend his stay at Old Trafford  into next season, he will warm-up with games against Inter Milan, AC Milan and Tottenham.

The Premier League giants were already due to face Perth Glory and Leeds United in Australia.

Covering such great distances will come as a worry to Solskjaer as he aims to turn United back into title contenders next season.

His predecessor Jose Mourinho was not afraid to show frustrations when the squad had to travel across the United States last summer.

MOUR PROBLEMS

Pre-season tours are known to be a marketing tool to spread the club's brand across the planet.

Mourinho described the travels as "very bad" and stressed his fears over how it would impact his squad's preparation for the coming season.

Solskjaer's season will start at the beginning of July when he takes United 9,000 miles across the globe.

Their first game is scheduled for July 13 against Perth Glory at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.

Four days later they face Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds United at the same venue.

They will then hotfoot it to Singapore where they take on Italian giants Inter Milan at the National Stadium on July 20.

The next leg of the tour takes them to China for an early taster against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur, before heading back to the United Kingdom.

United are scheduled to come up against AC Milan at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on August 3.

Solskjaer's men will have seven days to recover before the new Premier League season kicks off.
