Arrest Made In $21k Wilton Jewelry Theft: PD

Another arrest has been made in the case.

WILTON, CT — Wilton Police made another arrest in the Campus Jewelers $21,000 theft. Erika Santa, 32, of Jamaica, N.Y. was taken into custody by members of the NYPD and Nassau County Police Department near her home in New York.

She was turned over to Wilton Police Feb. 22. She is due in court March 5 after posting a $100,000 surety bond.

Four suspects entered Campus Jewelers Oct. 18. Three females distracted two workers while a male went behind the counter and put jewelry in a brown paper shopping bag, police said. The suspect purchased an item with cash and left the store.
