ROMEOVILLE, IL — Not everyone is able to make it home for the holidays, but one West Point Military Academy cadet surprised his family with a Thanksgiving homecoming.
The joy this family feels is palpable and will bring a tear to anyone's eye who has had to spend a holiday without a family member.
Cadet Rex Scott's mom, Kathy, told her daughters that he wouldn't be home for Thanksgiving, but instead would be back for Christmas. Imagine their surprise to see him walk in the door.
