West Wilts Radio will be hosting a celebration of the Bradford Roots Festival this weekend.
The Roots festival is the popular, annual, showcase of local and national talent.
Usually hosted by the Wiltshire Music Centre in January, the event could not take place this year, not least because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In its place, West Wilts Radio will broadcast a compilation of acts and entertainment taken from the last eight years.
The programme will be hosted by Chris Samuel, one of the organisers of the festival.
Chris said, “We’re going to have music, reminiscences and interviews. It’s going to be a lot of fun”.
David Garwood, Programme Controller at the radio station, said: “We are really excited to be hosting this amazing show about one of the most exciting events in Bradford-on-Avon’s entertainment calendar”
The programme will be broadcast at 3-5pm this coming Saturday January 23 at westwiltsradio.com
