Inter manager Antonio Conte will make several changes to the Inter line-up that started in yesterday’s 4-3 win away to Sassuolo for Wednesday’s Champions League tie away to Borussia Dortmund according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Conte rotated the team slightly for yesterday’s clash with the Neroverdi, which saw Inter get back to winning ways, after defeats in their two previous matches across all competitions to Juventus and Barcelona respectively.

Diego Godin was an unused substitute but he will be back in the starting 11 and will take the place of Alessandro Bastoni in the back three, where he will play alongside Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar.

Kwadwo Asamoah will also come back into the fold having also been dropped to the bench in order to rest. He will replace Cristian Biraghi at left wing back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

The other player who will return is Matias Vecino. The Uruguayan came off the bench late on yesterday but it is as yet unclear which of the three central midfielders places he will take although it can be quite safely presumed that it will be Roberto Gagliardini.
