Palm Beach County Commissioners issue a proclamation

On Wednesday morning Palm Beach County Commissioners issued a proclamation to educate people about rail safety. South Florida Regional Transportation said in 2019, Florida was ranked third in the nation with the most train related fatalities, The proclamation declares September 21st through the 27th as rail safety week in Florida. Brightline train spokesperson Ali Soule reminded the public of safety precautions. " Not to trespass on railroad tracks, not to go around railroad crossing arms when they are in the down position and just to be safe around active railroad crossings, " Soule said.
