RELISH The Foodie Event returns to Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke – with roller skating

Relish delicious food fare, roller skating and a DJ at Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke in mid-September.

RELISH The Foodie Event returns onsite Cloverdale Mall for the third year on the weekend of Sept. 17-18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in its north parking lot at 250 The East Mall.

During the pandemic, Cloverdale Mall offered a virtual version with online cooking classes, food-themed paint nights and cocktail classes. 

Enjoy a variety of eats from 15 local food trucks and shop 20 artisanal market vendors at the Tastemakers’ Marketplace, curated by BRIKA. There will be a picnic on the grass and food-themed activities for children, and you can pick fresh flowers at the floral market.

New this year is roller skating at Cloverdale’s roller rink. Skaters must register on Cloverdale Mall's website. Enjoy the beats of a DJ and the Big Smoke Brass Band.

“Earlier this year we reimagined how land and vacant space is used by transforming the north parking lot into an outdoor ice skating rink enjoyed by over 1,800 guests,” Andy Clydesdale, executive vice-president, Retail, QuadReal Property Group, said in an email.

“We are thrilled to bring yet another experience to our community with the addition of a roller rink, a part of the Centre’s four-season programming. It’s a great way for guests to get some exercise, gather with family and friends, and most importantly, have fun.”

Children may participate in the “That’s Amore” make-and-take pizza workshop with Metro.

Cheese-lovers may indulge in a Cheese and Charcuterie 101 workshop with Chef Afrim Pristine from the Cheese Boutique.

Preorder a curated meal for two from Cloverdale Mall’s latest collaboration with the Cheese Boutique and have a picnic on the grass.
