Tacoma Police said, on Sept. 15 at 10:25 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of St. Paul Ave.

They found an unresponsive man outside of a vehicle and immediately started life-saving measures. The victim, a 42-year-old male, was transported to the hospital and died of his injuries.

Detectives and crime scene technicians responded to the scene. This is currently being investigated as a homicide.

Tacoma police arrest suspect of previous shooting

Tacoma Police said, on Sept. 4 at 12:05 a.m., they received a report of a woman with a gunshot wound to the head behind a business in the 3800 block of S. Cedar St.

Officers soon found the unresponsive female and immediately called for medical aid. Tacoma Fire Department personnel pronounced the female dead at the scene. The victim was a 58-year-old female.

Tacoma Police detectives and crime scene technicians established probable cause for a suspect and, on Sept. 13, officers arrested a 53-year-old male in Tacoma.

He was booked into jail for murder in the second degree.

Man arrested for distributing counterfeit fentanyl pills

Federal Way Police said during an emphasis patrol, officers saw a suspect doing hand-to-hand transactions of pills at a location on Pacific Hwy S.

Officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody. Police arrested the 20-year-old man and found a stolen, loaded Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol, an extended magazine, 105 suspected M-30 counterfeit oxy blue fentanyl pills, a ski mask, and other items on his person.

The suspect was interviewed and booked into jail. 

Man arrested for stabbing another man near Chinatown-International District

Seattle Police arrested a man for stabbing another man early Thursday morning near the Chinatown-International District.

Officers say at 2:21 a.m., SPD responded to 6th Avenue South and Seattle Boulevard South for reports of a stabbing.

Officers spoke with the 58-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso and immediately began providing first aid. Seattle Fire Department medics also responded and eventually transported the man to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Before going to the hospital, the victim told officers the stabbing took place several blocks away, and he described the suspect. Officers in the area contacted a man matching the description, and the victim identified him as the suspect.

Police arrested the 57-year-old suspect and booked him into the King County Jail for first-degree assault.
